Villa Rafa

This newly built villa sits on an impressive 600m2 land. Each space is curated with care and thoughtfully designed. This exceptional villa has 4 large bedrooms including a parental suite which will please families travelling with children. Villa Rafa is perfectly situated in Mas surrounded by lush rice paddies yet easily accessible to Ubud’s historical and vibrant scenery. This Villa is fully staffed with daily cleaning.

The Space

This exquisite Villa Rafa boasts 4 large bedrooms of 23m2 each fitted with en-suite shower and walk in wardrobe. All bedrooms come with king size bed. They are modular beds which can easily be split into two single beds to offer more flexibility for large group travelling. Every room also includes a TV, air conditioning and black out curtains. One of the four bedrooms has a parental suite with one bunk bed and a sharing bathroom.

In total, Villa Rafa can accommodate up to 8 adults and 2 children. In the center of the villa, you will find the kitchen and dining room that are spread over 100m2. All kitchen cabinets are made to measure and fitted with high quality appliances. The villa is tastefully decorated; the furniture is uniquely designed and crafted by local artisans which makes this villa unique with a tropical modern vibe. This Villa has a twin villa right next to it, you could rent both villas to accommodate up to 16 adults and 4 kids. Please send us an inquiry if you wish to do so.

Guest Access

The entire villa is yours during your stay, no space is sharing with others. Please note as we don’t own the rice fields in front of the Villa Rafa, you may experience some farmers passing in front. As they are working on their land, this is just natural and we can’t do anything against it. Take it as an opportunity to see more of the locals life. Villa Rafa is new and located on a remote location with rice field view, the road access is not smooth and perfect. The road is narrow, made of limestone not asphalt, could be muddy after a long rain, and have potholes here and there.

There are no lampposts on the limestone road heading to the villa, so it can be dark at night. If you rent a car, please be aware to bring a smaller car when you arrive at the Villa Rafa, as a big car may not fit in the road. A car bigger than a Toyota Avanza, may not be suitable to the road. As nature is integral to the villa, you may hear noises which come from the insects who inhabit the rice field.

Villa with View Nature

This is the charm of living close to nature in Ubud. Kindly note that rice fields surrounding the property are the main food resources for locals living in the area. This means they may be harvested at different times of the year. Host is not responsible for any surrounding landscape modification out of their scope. Bali is a humid and tropical natural environment with lots of greenery. Geckos & insects are endemic to the Island.

Even though gentle pest controls are regularly operated at the property, some encounters may occur. Please note that all of them are completely harmless and important for a balanced ecosystem. Because the property is located in a relatively remote area, flow of electricity is not as reliable as in cities. Therefore, power cuts from the main provider may be expected from time to time. Kindly note that these are completely out of the host’s scope. No generator is available on site.

This Villa is perfectly situated in Mas, an authentic Balinese village, surrounded by rice paddies yet easily accessible to Ubud’s historical and vibrant scenery.
