Villa Melissa

Approached via a grand colonnaded walkway with a soaring thatched roof, Villa Melissa has five bedrooms, three of which have sea views. Halfway along the covered walkway are two of the bedrooms, one twin and one queen, positioned on each side in accordance with the architectural symmetry.

Each of these bedrooms has French windows that open onto semi-private gardens with fishponds. The walkway then leads into the main pavilion with the living room and dining room spilling out onto the pool area. A double stairway, centred around long steel columns with twisting spokes to support the bannisters, takes you up to a mezzanine and the ocean-facing bedrooms, each with its own balcony with unrivalled views over the waves. A TV and sound system equip each of the five bedrooms.. All have dressing areas, balconies or terraces, and gorgeous ensuite bathrooms, fitted with twin washbasins, walk-in rainshowers and bathtubs-for-two. The pièce de résistance is the master bathroom, where a sunken bathtub appears to float upon a water garden under a grass roof.  

Living Area at Villa Melissa

The air-conditioned living room is by a timber floor and soft lighting. It features two sitting areas furnished with sofas, chairs and coffee tables, and with a TV and sound system. The location of dining room is at one side and offers the choice of semi-alfresco dining or air-conditioned comfort.

A horseshoe-shaped service bar links the dining room to the professional kitchen. Upstairs the timber-floored mezzanine presents an ambient spot to chill out under a soaring roof, accompanied by mesmerising views and the sound of the sea. The villa showcases a mix of modern furnishings and Dutch-colonial antiques.

Pool Area at Villa Melissa

The front of the villa showcases four, massive 12-metre-high, wooden columns with long retractable screens to shade the sun from the inside of the house. Here the roar of the surf comes to the fore with a sea breeze to match. The garden is side by a 20 x 6-metre infinity-edge, T-shaped swimming pool surrounded by a stone deck.  The lawn then rolls down to the beach with a relaxation balé on one side and a dining pavilion on the other, complete with a table for ten and more incredible ocean views.

• Villa Melissa is a fantastic for families. If you’re coming with a really large group, you can book another villa, or even 4 more neighbouring villas within the Pantai Lima Estate.
• 10 adults and 2 children (5 ensuite bedrooms: 3 with king beds, 1 with queen bed, and 2 twin beds). Two extra beds available with additional charge.
• Open-air living room with surround sound system and majestic double height ceilings with direct access to the pool and beach. Bale lounge and outdoor dining area with beach and ocean views.
• 2 Infinity-edge beachfront swimming pools 20m x 6m x 2m (depth) with 10 lounge chairs and 4 pool umbrellas. Pool Toys and Pool Fence are available upon request.
• Massage, Spa services and Yoga sessions available upon request (extra charge)he bale can also be transformed into a completely private massage pavilion and indulge in any spa treatments.
• Private Chef is experienced in Western, Chinese, Asian, Vegetarian and children’s dishes. Special requests can be accommodated All meals can be arranged in advance.
