Exceptional location, breathtaking views, architecture of style and character, wide open spaces, quiet, pleasant and, smiling staff, this little jewel is not to be missed. This is a rare pearl in Ubud, just 5 minutes from the city center. 215m2 of comfort on a plot of 9 acres bordered by rice paddies and the Balinese jungle await you for a relaxing and authentic stay.
With 5 air-conditioned bedrooms, each with their bathroom (5 bathrooms), a fully equipped kitchen, a beautiful living room, this completely private villa is located in a very quiet area , away from major roads while being close to the center. Nearby you will find excellent restaurants as well as local shops where you will find everything you need. You will enjoy unique moments of relaxation in this villa. We also offer, at discretion in the house, coffee, tea and drinking water (water fountain). In addition, the villa also has a chef at your disposal for the preparation of your meals.
We offer a wide choice of dishes that can be ordered the day before. For your well-being, our team ensures the daily maintenance of the Villa Joy Boutique and puts at your disposal all the linen of the house (sheets, towels of swimming pool, kitchen towels, sponges, etc.) Useless also clutters your clutter with dishwashing products, shampoo, shower gel, which we are happy to provide you. For families traveling with young children, be aware that we can provide you with a bed umbrella with mosquito net, a bath and a high chair.
For additional travelers (more than 10 people), we can offer you extra beds (single mattress 1 person on the ground). This service is charged 20 € / day / additional person. Finally, we can also assist you in organizing your visits, activities or transfers. Do not hesitate to ask us to know our preferential rates.
The entire Villa Joy Boutique is yours during your stay, no space is sharing with others. Please note as we don’t own the rice fields in front of the villa, you may experience some farmers passing in front. As they are working on their land, this is just natural and we can’t do anything against it. Take it as an opportunity to see more of the locals life!
As this Villa Joy Boutique is new and located on a remote location with rice field view, the road access is not smooth and perfect. The road is narrow, made of limestone not asphalt, could be muddy after a long rain, and have potholes here and there. There are no lampposts on the limestone road heading to the villa, so it can be dark at night. If you rent a car, please be aware to bring a smaller car when you arrive at the villa, as a big car may not fit in the road. A car bigger than a Toyota Avanza, may not be suitable to the road.
As nature is integral to the villa, you may hear noises which come from the insects who inhabit the rice field. This is the charm of living close to nature in Ubud. Kindly note that rice fields surrounding the property are the main food resources for locals living in the area. This means they may be harvested at different times of the year. Host is not responsible for any surrounding landscape modification out of their scope. Bali is a humid and tropical natural environment with lots of greenery. Geckos & insects are endemic to the Island. Even though gentle pest controls are regularly operated at the property, some encounters may occur.
Please note that all of them are completely harmless and important for a balanced ecosystem. Because the property is located in a relatively remote area, flow of electricity is not as reliable as in cities. Therefore, power cuts from the main provider may be expected from time to time. Kindly note that these are completely out of the host’s scope. No generator is available on site. Temples and ceremonies are the pulse of Balinese culture. Sounds of religions processions shape and rythme the life of the surrounding population. You’ll have the privilege to witness and experience your Balinese journey up close. By informing us the day before, we can organize all your trips, your visits, by minibus for example. If you prefer, we can also put you in touch with a scooter rental company. We can send you our preferential rates on request.
The house is located in a very quiet residential area, bordered by rice fields, less than 5 minutes by scooter from the city center. You will find all the amenities (good restaurants, shops, etc.) and can enjoy beautiful walks in the middle of nature. Near the village of Mas, known for its works of art (wooden sculpture, masks, etc.) you can discover the Balinese know-how.
Being only occasionally in Bali, I give the management of this villa to my friends on the spot. They will welcome you and will be completely available if you have any questions.
This Villa living/common area is semi-open so there’s no Air Condition in the living/common area, only in the bedrooms, however the ceiling fan is available and the sliding door also can be open for the natural breeze. We are taking extra steps to ensure the safety of our guest during your stay.
