Villa Ambra

 The main building incorporates a cinema room on the lowest level with a high-definition movie projection system, and a big cinema bed along the back wall. On the central level is a bedroom Villa Ambra is built into the contours of the land, with two triple-level buildings linked by a single-storey ‘wantilan’ pavilion with a wide balcony overlooking the estuary, and a dining room with a table for ten opening out onto the pool deck.

The third building presents a second master suite on ground level adjoined by a study desk. This master bedroom opens onto a covered garden terrace that looks directly over the ocean. An impressive stairway with a Javanese tiled floor sweeps up to two more bedrooms; this floor is ideal for families. Each bedroom has a balcony or terrace with mesmerising views, a walk-in dressing room, a king or queen bed, and a Smart Flatscreen Television with satellite TV programming, local and international channels.

Here, there is also the option of alfresco dining with a table for ten and a barbeque. The master suite covers the upper floor, complete with an open-sided sitting room, bedroom, ensuite and private massage area.  A wantilan pavilion, fashioned in the architectural style of a Balinese village meeting place with open sides, is bordered by a fishpond., antique-style Javanese floor tiles, and a soaring, two-tiered roof supported by wooden pillars. A sofa and reclining chairs furnish this eclectic living space.

In each ensuite bathroom, a powerful monsoon shower and a bathtub are installed, and each is individually styled with tactile materials.

Pool Area at Villa Ambra

In the expansive garden, with a lawn extending down to the beach, you’ll find the 20-metre infinity pool as well as a shallow children’s pool, and a beachside relaxation pavilion. Ambra is home to four gentle and well-behaved Bali dogs; they are an integral part of the villa. So if you’re not keen on dogs, you should consider booking one of the other sister-villas on the Pantai Lima
